“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” — Matthew 24:35
Every declaration is only as powerful as the Word it stands on.
That is why everything in this library — from our foundational decree and declare guide to our declare and decree over my life post — is anchored in one thing. The Bible.
Not motivational quotes. Not positive thinking. Not human wisdom.
The living, breathing, never-failing Word of God.
This post is different from the others in our Decrees & Declarations library. Instead of declarations inspired by Scripture, these are declarations spoken directly from Scripture — God’s own words, placed in your mouth, spoken back over your life in faith.
When you speak these, you are not making something up. You are releasing what God Himself has already declared. And His Word never returns void.

Why Biblical Declarations Are the Most Powerful Kind
There is a reason Hebrews 4:12 calls the Word of God “living and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword.” It is not passive. It is not decorative. It is active, alive, and working every time it goes forth.
When you speak a biblical declaration you are releasing that living power directly into your circumstances.
Isaiah 55:11 — “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please.” Notice — it does not say the word must go forth from God’s mouth only. It says the word that goes forth. When you speak His Word, it carries His authority.
Jeremiah 1:12 — “I am watching over My word to perform it.” God personally backs every word He has spoken. When you declare His Word, He is watching over it to bring it to pass.
Psalm 103:20 — Angels hearken to the voice of God’s Word. When you speak Scripture aloud in faith, you are activating spiritual forces on your behalf.
This is why biblical declarations and decrees are not just devotional exercises — they are spiritual warfare. They are Kingdom activation. They are faith in its most concrete form.

How to Build Your Own Biblical Declarations
The 30 declarations above are a starting point. Here is how to build your own directly from Scripture:
Step 1 — Find a promise in the Bible that applies to your situation. The Psalms, the letters of Paul, and the Gospels are rich with them.
Step 2 — Rewrite it in first person present tense. “God will supply all your needs” becomes “My God supplies all my needs.”
Step 3 — Speak it out loud daily. As we explain in our prayer declarations and decrees post, speaking aloud is essential — faith comes by hearing.
Step 4 — Add the scripture reference. Knowing where it comes from strengthens your faith and keeps you rooted in truth.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes a declaration biblical? A biblical declaration is one rooted directly in the written Word of God. It does not contradict Scripture, it does not go beyond what God has revealed, and it aligns with the character and will of God as shown throughout the Bible.
Are biblical declarations the same as positive affirmations? No. Positive affirmations are rooted in human belief. Biblical declarations are rooted in the eternal Word of God. The power is not in your belief in yourself — it is in God’s faithfulness to His own Word.
Where can I find more declarations like these? Our full decree and declare pillar post has 60+ declarations organized by category — healing, breakthrough, finances, protection, morning, and family — all rooted in Scripture.
A Final Word
The Bible is not just a book to be read. It is a Word to be spoken.
Every promise in it belongs to you. Every declaration in it can come out of your mouth. Every decree it contains carries the full authority of the God who wrote it.
Open it. Find your promise. Speak it over your life.
He is watching over His Word to perform it.
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit.” — Hebrews 4:12
